This is compensation for an out-of-pocket expense accrued during employment or when performing a duty for another person. Common reimbursement examples include employees who buy items for their companies or companies that pay back employees for business trip expenses such as meals or travel costs. Some companies also offer employees tuition, childcare, and gas reimbursement.
