The London Stock Exchange (LSE) is an international stock exchange located in London, England, which was founded in 1801. The LSE is the most international of all the world’s stock
exchanges, with around 3,000 companies from over 70 countries admitted
to trading on its markets
As of end-June 2010, the Exchange had a market capitalization of $2.4 trillion, making it the fourth largest stock exchange in the world and the largest in Europe.
