Investment management Definition
Investment management, also called portfolio management or money management, it is a branch of investment analysis that looks into the process of managing money. Investment portfolios could be managed through decisions about security purchases and sales. An Investment Manager (e.g. Schroders, JP Morgan) is an organization which provides investment management services.
Increasingly international business schools are incorporating the subject into their course outlines and some have formulated the title of 'Investment Management' to confer as specialist masters degrees.
