Heavy Crude Oil Definition
Heavy Crude Oil is a type of crude oil that does not flow easily as it has a relatively high proportion of heavy hydrocarbon products or fractions. Due to its high viscosity it is difficult to transport and refine it. The largest reserves of heavy crude oil can be found in Venezuela, but at least 30 countries have further reserves.
