George Soros Definition
George Soros, born in 1930, is a Hungarian-American financier and businessman. He is known as "the Man Who Broke the Bank of England" after he made $1 billion during the 1992 Black Wednesday UK currency crises. Soros established the Quantum Fund that holds the best performance record of any investment fund in the world over its 26-year history as it reached a cumulative 32% annual return. He is considered as a philanthropist who supports liberal ideals.
