Follow On Public Offer – FPO describes an issuing of stocks to investors by public companies which have already listed on exchange but want to raise additional funds in the capital markets by issuing more equity shares. If a public company has massive expansion plans it may not raise sufficient funds in the debt market, therefore it may come up with follow on offer to raise capital.
