Final Prospectus Definition
Final Prospectus is a document accompanying the public offering of a security that is given to investors who are considering to purchase the issue. The prospectus provides the details of the offering such as the delivery date, the underwriting spread, and financial information about the company. When a security is issued a preliminary prospectus is first prepared and is followed by the final prospectus. The main difference between them is that the final version contains the security's price.
