Chaos Theory Definition
Chaos Theory is a field of
study in mathematics, physics, economics, and philosophy. It analyzes the
behavior of dynamical systems that are highly sensitive to initial conditions.
The behavior may be explained through analysis of a chaotic mathematical model.
Small differences in initial conditions lead to divergent result for chaotic
systems. This means that long-term predictions are impossible. Many
representatives of the theory seek for the underlying order in apparently
random data.
