Agency Bonds Definition
Agency Bonds are securities issued by federal agencies or private entities, such as the Federal National Mortgage Association and the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, that are also known as government sponsored enterprises (“GSE”s). GSEs are not backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government.
